Cumbria Mobility Limited recruits new Motability Specialist

Cumbria Mobility Morecambe has announced the appointment of a new Motability specialist to the team Gillian Lawson recently joined the Cumbria Mobility team to provide Lancashire and South Cumbria locals with advice and expertise on choosing a new scooter or powered wheelchair through the Motability Scheme.

 

Offering worry-free powered wheelchairs and scooters to disabled people, the Scheme is available to anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement, or the Armed Forces Independence Payment.

 

Gillian Lawson commented, “Cumbria Mobility has a long history of working with the Motability Scheme and I’m looking forward to getting to know our Motability customers better and provide information and advice to people in the area who are thinking about leasing a Motability scooter or powered wheelchair.”

 

Disabled people who receive either the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or the Armed Forces Independence Payment can exchange their weekly mobility payment, to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair through the Motability Scheme.
